This highly-regarded Australian organisation with a history spanning 70 years locally designs and manufactures air fittings and couplings of exceptional quality for the truck and trailer industries. The company is now looking to take a more proactive approach to the sale of its products and seeks a high-calibre Business Development Executive to take on a new role to assist in growing the business.
Reporting to the CEO, you will utilise the group’s extensive contact list to initiate face to face meetings with resellers and manufacturers to introduce and provide insight into the product suite. You will identify targets for new business and will also further enhance existing relationships to generate increased sales from active accounts. Able to work highly-effectively autonomously, your role will include representing the business at trade shows and acting as a Brand Ambassador promoting the organisation in a professional and positive manner.
With previous demonstrable success in a business development role, you will be a self-motivated, trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic. You will enjoy and be skilled at hunting down sales opportunities and will be well-organised and efficient. With the technical aptitude to work with and comprehend machined components and the manufacturing process, you can also quickly build rapport and relationships. You will have a track record of meeting and exceeding targets and will enjoy some travel as part of a role. Able to deliver concise reports to management, you will be a clear communicator who is now looking to join a fantastic business working with great people in a vital position.
